Voice of a Mountain documents the reality of three rural communities in Guatemala in the aftermath of the civil war. It looks at the day-to-day realities of these communities that find their livelihood intricately connected to agriculture, as they struggle with poverty, increasing debt, decreasing job opportunities, and the temptation to migrate north in search of a better life for their children. Fair Trade becomes one option for community development.
