Organizing Palestinian Farmers for Fair Trade

On April 21, 2007, Nasser Abu Farha of Jenin, Palestine, was in town for Green Fest and delivered a presentation on organizing farmers for fair trade within Palestine. He holds a PhD in anthropology and international development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Abu Farha is also the founder and chair of the Palestine Fair Trade Association.  In addition to the presentation, the even included a special reception, Taste of Palestine, which featured three chefs providing three humous recipes.  If you missed this presentation last April, it is now featured on NPR's site:
